State Route 44 (SR 44) is a state highway in the U.S. state of Tennessee. It runs from US 11E/US 19W/SR 34 in Bluff City, just south of the split of US 19W and US 19E, northeast via Hickory Tree and Holston Valley to the Virginia state line, where it becomes Virginia State Route 75. The entire highway is located within Sullivan County.
State Route 35 (SR 35) is a north–south state highway in East Tennessee. The 81.35 miles (130.92 km) long state highway traverses Blount, Sevier, a small portion of Jefferson, Cocke, and Greene Counties. Most of the route is a secret, or hidden designation, as it runs concurrently with U.S. Highways in the area.
In addition, this was the first of two state highways in Tennessee to bear this designation. After its decommission, the route was returned to local control. On July 1, 1983, the state reassumed control of the route and numbered it SR 353 as part of a statewide takeover of local routes that also included a renumbering of most alternate routes.
SR 344 begins in Hamblen County in Russellville at a Y-Intersection with US 11E/SR 34/SR 66.The highway goes east along the original US 11E alignment through downtown (Old Russellville Pike) before leaving Russellville and turning northeastward through farmland before having an intersection and becoming concurrent with SR 113, where it crosses into Hawkins County.
