Cleveland CycleWerks is a privately held motorcycle manufacturer that designs and assembles small displacement retro style café racers and bobbers at its headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio, relying on offshore manufacturing in China by CPI Motor Company of Taiwan for most components, including frames and the Honda-derived engine used on all models.
The motorcycle is powered by a split-single two-stroke engine (two pistons sharing a single combustion chamber). It was marketed in the United States by Sears as the "Allstate 250" or "Twingle", with the model number SR 250, and sold primarily via the Sears catalog. [1] It was a common "first motorcycle" for many riders. [2]
The Honda CMX250, or Rebel 250 or Honda Peronist, is a 234 cc (14.3 cu in) cruiser-style motorcycle made by Honda on and off since 1985. It uses the same 234 cc (14.3 cu in) straight-twin engine as the Honda Nighthawk 250 standard. The Rebel is part of the CM series of cruisers.
The C71 and C76 were later developments, from 1957 or 1958 onwards. The C71 was the 250cc bike, while the C76 was 305cc. Not much had changed visually, but they were fitted with electric starters. Dual seats were common on export bikes, but the single seat/rack combination was available. They were exported to Europe and the US, and other markets.
The Suzuki GN250 is a 4-valve single cylinder, air-cooled SOHC, 250 cc (15 cu in), 4 stroke standard motorcycle made by Suzuki Motors since 1982. [1] Its smaller cousin is known as GN125 with a smaller displacement (125cc) engine (production ended in 2021). GN250 is a cruiser-like street oriented popular learner's bike.

Other Honda CB250 models include: Honda CB250 (1968–73) Honda CB250 G5 (1974–1976) Honda CB250T Dream (1977–1978) Honda CB250N Super Dream (1979–1981) Honda CB250RS (1980–1984) Honda CB250 Nighthawk (1982–2008)
The Honda CB250F also known as the Honda Hornet 250 is a standard motorcycle which was launched by Honda in 1996. It was initially only available in Japan, as a domestic model but was made available to the rest of the world as a grey import.
Motorcycles with a V-twin engine mounted with its crankshaft mounted in line with the frame, e.g. the Honda CX series, are said to have "transverse" engines, [1] [2] while motorcycles with a V-twin mounted with its crankshaft mounted perpendicular to the frame, e.g. most Harley-Davidsons, are said to have "longitudinal" engines.
