Charlotte Digges "Lottie" Moon (December 12, 1840 – December 24, 1912) was an American Southern Baptist missionary to China with the Foreign Mission Board who spent nearly 40 years (1873–1912) living and working in China.

It eventually became an online magazine with an occasional print issue. Their first publication, Southern Baptist Missionary Journal, is defunct. Lottie Moon. On July 7, 1873, the board appointed its most famous missionary, Charlotte D. "Lottie" Moon, to China. Moon served many years among the Chinese and after giving her life to foreign missions.

The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, named Broadus chapel, (modeled after the First Baptist Church in America, located in Providence, Rhode Island) in his honor. Lottie Moon was converted at an evangelistic meeting led by Broadus in 1858. Broadus had founded the Albemarle Female Institute which Moon attended and from which she graduated.
In 2023, Southern Baptist Convention leadership disfellowshipped Calvary Baptist Church in Jackson. Calvary Baptist Church Pastor Linda Smith, at the time, said her church didn't expect to appeal.
