G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero is a 1991 run and gun game published by Taxan for the Nintendo Entertainment System based on the toyline of the same name. The game was produced by Ken Lobb and developed by the same Japanese team that later formed KID .
Along with the H.I.S.S. and the Viper Glider, this toy was one of the first three Cobra vehicles to be released, a full year after the initial Joe team vehicles. The F.A.N.G. figured prominently in the comics and the first season of the animated series. The F.A.N.G. was also featured in the 1985 G.I. Joe computer game. [18]
