The Jake Nevin Field House (originally known as the Villanova Field House) is an arena located at Villanova University in Villanova, Pennsylvania.The arena, built in 1932, is the former home of the Villanova men's basketball program prior to the construction of the venue now known as Finneran Pavilion in 1986.
The Finneran Pavilion is the current home to the Villanova Men's and Women's Basketball Teams. The arena also hosted other Villanova events including the yearly "Hoops Mania" event in Fall. [9] Hoops Mania is the kickoff event to the Villanova Men's Basketball season and has had past performers such as Drake, Nicki Minaj and Wiz Khalifa. [10]

The stadium plays host to a wide variety of events including serving as home to the Villanova Wildcats football, field hockey, lacrosse, and track and field teams. Philadelphia area teams such as the WUSA 's Philadelphia Charge and Major League Lacrosse 's Philadelphia Barrage have also used the stadium in the past or currently.
The Villanova Wildcats women's basketball team are coached by Harry Perretta, [4] now serving his 42nd year as head coach of the team. For the 2017–18 season, they will play their home games at Jake Nevin Field House on the Villanova campus while the future Finneran Pavilion is undergoing $65 million renovations. [5]
