If something is wrong with your mobile web browser, it can cause AOL websites to stop working. Get back to what you're doing by fixing the source of the problem.
Protected mode is enable by default and may interfere with AOL Mail. If you're continuing to have trouble accessing mail, turn Protected Mode off: 1. Click Tools. 2. Click Internet Options. 3. Click the Security tab. 4. Deselect "Enable Protected Mode." 5. Restart Internet Explorer and sign in to AOL Mail again.

Verified for version 4.4 and later. 1. Open the Settings app. 2. Tap Apps. 3. Tap AOL. 4. Tap Force Stop. 5. If prompted, tap Force Stop again to confirm. 6. Relaunch the app and attempt to reproduce the issue.
