Cool Math Games (branded as Coolmath Games) [a] is an online web portal that hosts HTML and Flash web browser games targeted at children and young adults. Cool Math Games is operated by Coolmath LLC and first went online in 1997 with the slogan: "Where logic & thinking meets fun & games.".
Gridlock was an Irish television game show, hosted by Derek Mooney, that premiered on RTÉ on September 14, 1998. [1] Gridlock replaced the long-running series Blackboard Jungle, which was hosted by Ray D'Arcy. [1] The show lasted only one season. There were three teams of two people, each team representing a secondary school.
The goal of the game is to get only the red car out through the exit of the board by moving the other vehicles out of its way. However, the cars and trucks (set up before play, according to a puzzle card) obstruct the path of both the red car and each other, which makes the puzzle even more difficult.
The logic puzzle was first produced by Charles Lutwidge Dodgson, who is better known under his pen name Lewis Carroll, the author of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.In his book The Game of Logic he introduced a game to solve problems such as confirming the conclusion "Some greyhounds are not fat" from the statements "No fat creatures run well" and "Some greyhounds run well".
