Gospel songs are a kind of motivational Christian music that has become a major part of Nigerian music.In the 1960s the Evangelical Church of West Africa Choir was popular, and in the early 1970s Bola Aare, Ebenezer Obey and later, Panam Percy Paul, Onyeka Onwenu, Tope Alabi, and Kefee were notable.

Frank Ugochukwu Edwards (born 22 July 1989) is a Nigerian musician, record producer, sound engineer, worship singer and songwriter from Enugu State. [1] He is the founder and owner of the record label Rocktown Records, which is home to recording artists such as Edwards himself, Gil Joe, King BAS, Nkay, Dudu and, among others.
In 2008, he was nominated for the award of "Best Gospel Artist" at the Nigerian Entertainment Awards (NEA) in New York City. He embarked on an international tour to promote his album, including South Africa, the United Kingdom and Germany. In Germany, he recorded and performed with German gospel producer Chris Lass.

Yadah became popular with the release of "Beyond Me" in 2019. Her second album The Love Story was released in August 2021 and comprised 15 tracks including "Free of Charge", "Out of Nothing" and 'Beyond Me". [5] She has collaborated with a number of artistes including Solomon Lange, Chris Morgan, Mercy Chinwo and Sunmisola Agbebi Okeleye.
