South Station Tower is a skyscraper under construction in Boston, Massachusetts, the high-rise portion of a three-building development. Construction on Phase 1 of the project, a 51-story, 678-foot tower with offices and condominiums, started in January 2020 and is expected to take four years. [ 2 ]

South Station, officially The Governor Michael S. Dukakis Transportation Center at South Station, is the largest railroad station and intercity bus terminal in Greater Boston and New England's second-largest transportation center after Logan International Airport. [6]
In the early 1980s, the Massachusetts Port Authority designated Fidelity Investments and The Drew Company as developers of Commonwealth Pier, [3] which they transformed into the World Trade Center Boston in 1986. In 1998, Fidelity Investments and The Drew Company opened the Seaport Boston Hotel alongside the World Trade Center. [4] [5] [6]
The Harbor Towers apartment complex was completed in 1971 by the Berenson Corporation as an affordable housing option near Boston's financial district. The towers were designed by Henry N. Cobb, who also designed Boston's John Hancock Tower and collaborated with I.M Pei on Boston's City Hall Plaza .
60 State Street is a modern skyscraper on historic State Street in the Government Center neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. Completed in 1977, it is Boston's 19th tallest building, standing 509 feet (155 m) tall, and housing 38 floors .
