Ogontz Hall is an historic, American, combined residential and commercial building complex that is located in the West Oak Lane neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Hall was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1991.
Ogontz was named after a Native American chieftain. [1] According to Philadelphia Department of Records, Belfield is located in the "vicinity of Chelten and Olney Avenues, Wister Street and Ogontz Avenue. Named for the Belfield Mansion". Ogontz is "from Ogontz Avenue to Broad Street above Olney Avenue".
