Chris Hansen submitted a bid for an additional 7% minority stake in the Sacramento Kings franchise on March 27. Pending approval by the NBA and a California bankruptcy court, Hansen was set to own 72% of the Sacramento Kings franchise before he would have relocated the Kings to Seattle for the 2013–14 NBA season. The Sacramento Kings is an American professional basketball team based in Sacramento, California.They play in the Pacific Division of the Western Conference in the National Basketball Association (NBA).
The 2024–25 Sacramento Kings season is the 80th season for the franchise in the National Basketball Association (NBA), and 40th season in the city of Sacramento. [1] On December 27, 2024, the Kings fired Mike Brown. Doug Christie was named the interim head coach. [2]
The Kings will unveil their new City Edition jerseys and introduce their team for the 2023-24 NBA season during Fan Fest festivities Saturday at Golden 1 Center.
