Zaman Sher Khan or Puttan Khan (4 January 1952 – 20 October 2024), better known by the pen name Fahmi Badayuni, [1] was an Indian poet known for his contributions to Urdu literature. [ 2 ] [ 3 ] Fahmi's poetry often revolved around themes of love, beauty, and human emotions, expressed in an eloquent yet simple style.
The music composer was Naushad, assisted by Ghulam Mohammed and the lyricists were Shakeel Badayuni and Anjum Pilibhiti. The director of photography was Faredoon Irani . [ 2 ] It was produced under the Mehboob Productions banner and starred Naseem Banu , Surendra , Prem Adib , Zeb Qureshi, Reehan, Pratima Devi and Cuckoo .
