I am wandering if anyone using ADAT with the Push 3 in control mode, is seeing the inputs greyed out in the 'Ableton Push Control Panel'. I got a Behringer ADA8200 today, plugged its ADAT out to the Push 3 ADAT in. Switched the ADA8200 to Master44.1 and then enabled some plugged in mics on channels 15&16 (7&8 on the ADA8200) with phantom power ...
Of course what brought me here is whether the beta HD cycle offers any insight to the live 12 features that will carry forward to push 3. As it stands those release notes for Live 11 are current with the updates. In other words, Push is being tested and updated with the stability and integration of the Live 11 feature set.
The Push 3 is pretty hefty, which is great but I can't see my self carrying this around without a proper carrying case. Will Ableton release an official bag/case for the Push 3? Also I suppose Ableton will be making adapters for CV outputs and midi, as shown in the introduction video, can we know when they'll become available to buy? Thanks

I recently bought a Push 3. Great so far. I have a Rode NT1A mic that I've used for vocals. It's a condenser mic. I previously used it connected to an Apollo Twin, but now want to use it directly with the Push 3. I know that the Push 3 doesn't supply phantom power, so the condenser as-is will produce no signal.
Even without Live 12 there were ways for 3rd parties to implement it in the traditional max for live way, and for this older way of doing it its therefore a question of 3rd parties offering good Push support, including in some cases updating their stuff to work well on Push 3.
My push 3 SA gets fairly hot (at a guess, I’d say about 45/50c to the touch). Nothing wrong with that at all. The push has small legs to lift it from the table and enable airflow. That’s enough. The suggestion of putting a cloth underneath is dumb - that will reduce the airflow to the heat sink (the big wavy bit of metal underneath the Push)
I run a Push 3 controller and use the latest driver. I get some random audio crackling. When it happens, it is just one very short noise burst, similar to CPU overload crackling.

try a hard reset: disconnect all usb and midi devices, connect the power brick. hold the powerbutton until the save botton lit up green, hold it until push shut down again. after this start push.
