Mortdecai (commonly known as Mort) is a main protagonist in All Hail King Julien. He is an incredibly cute and somewhat innocent and annoying mouse lemur, although his age is not confirmed. It was revealed in All Hail King Julien's "Fast Food Lemur Nation" that he is at least 50 years old. [1]

The predatory fossa attack the lemurs, only to be scared off by the fearsome appearance of Alex. After they managed to comfort a yougn mouse lemur named Mort after Alex tried to make a good impression but scaring him, the lemurs came out of their hidings and introduce themselves.
Despite despising Mort because he feels that Mort is annoying (mainly because he loves to touch his feet), Mort is a member of his royal circle and King Julien has been very protective of Mort when he's in mortal danger.
