The Perry Hannah House, also known as the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home, is a house located at 305 6th Street in Traverse City, Michigan. It was designated a Michigan State Historic Site in 1971 [ 2 ] and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972.
Reynolds was a well-known funeral home director in Philadelphia.He was heavily involved in politics and served as a Representative on the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican for the 1935 term, drafting the first civil rights legislation for the state titled the Reynolds Civil Rights Bill, and as a Democrat for the 1939 term.
Perry Hannah's Mansion on Sixth Street in Traverse City continues to be preserved, and today is home to Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home. The home has operated as a funeral home since 1937.
