Boynton Beach is a city in Palm Beach County, Florida, United States. It is situated about 57 miles (92 km) north of Miami. The 2020 census recorded a population of 80,380. Boynton Beach is located in the Miami metropolitan area, which was home to 6,138,333 people at the 2020 census.
The idea was shelved, World War II started, pausing the Boynton Inlet pumping, and it wasn’t until the mid 1950s that the idea of a Lake Worth Inlet sand transfer plant resurfaced.
The company was the nation's 18th largest oil change company in 1997. Following World War II, sand transfer was resumed, and dredging of the accumulated shoals in the inlet and the lagoon began. In 1967 the south jetty was extended 65 feet (20 m) and a 410 feet (120 m) curved extension was added to the north jetty.
