The single "Day is Done", written by Peter Yarrow, is also a different recording from the one on the album. "The Marvelous Toy" and "Going To The Zoo" are songs by Tom Paxton. [4]

In Concert is a live album by the American folk music trio Peter, Paul & Mary, released in 1964 (see 1964 in music). It was compiled from concerts at San Francisco, Sacramento, Long Beach in California; Daytona Beach, Florida and Terre Haute, Indiana.
On the Northern Journey album was the song "Someday Soon", a composition by Ian Tyson that would rival "Four Strong Winds" in its popularity. (Both songs would eventually be recorded by dozens of singers.) Their fourth album, Early Morning Rain, consisted in large part of new songs.
The song is also noted for its psychedelic feedback effects, miming the volume swell on the electric guitar from Donovan's 1966 song "Sunshine Superman". The backing vocal effect in the verse parodying the Beatles reflects "Yellow Submarine". [citation needed] The backing band on the recording was The Paupers, a rock band from Toronto.
