The Cornell Big Red wrestling team represents Cornell University of Ithaca, New York in collegiate wrestling.It is one of the most successful and storied collegiate wrestling programs in the nation with over 20 individual NCAA champions, 43 Ivy League championships, and 28 Eastern Intercollegiate Wrestling Association championships since the program's 1907 founding.
Koll joined Cornell University as an assistant wrestling coach in 1989. He became head wrestling coach at the school in 1993. He led Cornell to six top-five finishes in the NCAA Division I wrestling tournament, including second-place finishes in 2010 and 2011. The 2010 and 2011 finishes were the best ever for an Ivy League team. [3]

The Cornell men's wrestling team competes at the Friedman Wrestling Center with a capacity of 1,100. Cornell soccer teams play on Charles F. Berman Field on the southeast side of campus. Kyle Dake competed for the wrestling team at Cornell University. Between 2010 and 2013, he became only the third wrestler to win four NCAA Division I Wrestling titles. Among four-time champions, Dake is the first wrestler to win each title in four different weight classes, and the only one to not redshirt a season during his college career. [7]
Travis Lee (born 1983) [1] is a former NCAA wrestler at the 125 lbs and 133 lbs weight class out of Cornell University. He competed for the Cornell Big Red wrestling team under coach Rob Koll. Lee was the first individual NCAA wrestling champion from Hawaii, winning the 125 lbs. title in 2003 and the 133 lbs. title in 2005. [2]
