Kawaki goes toe-to-toe with Momoshiki, being able to use Isshiki's Sukunahikona and Daikokuten with his new Karma. Kawaki launches a barrage of shrunken rods and cubes at Momoshiki. Naruto questions whether he is still really Kawaki, who professes that he will do absolutely everything to protect Naruto.
Isshiki then attempts to embed a new Karma in Kawaki only for the mark to disappear moments later; as Isshiki's body crumbles, Kawaki reveals that he tricked him using a Shadow Doppelganger and stomps on his remains, killing him. In the aftermath, Momoshiki suddenly takes control of Boruto's body and attacks, destroying Sasuke's Rinnegan.
Isshiki attempts to find Kawaki, but Naruto faces him head-on, preparing to fight. Boruto transports himself and Isshiki to another dimension away from the village, with Sasuke and Naruto following. Since Boruto is Momoshiki's vessel, Isshiki plans to feed him to his Ten-Tails in order to plant a Divine Tree.
