Ryomen Sukuna (Japanese: 両面 宿儺, Hepburn: Ryōmen Sukuna) is a fictional character and one of the central antagonists of the manga and anime series Jujutsu Kaisen created by Gege Akutami. A Heian Era sorcerer, he was once known notoriously as the King of Curses and well known as the greatest Sorcerer to ever live.
To counteract Mahoraga's ability to adapt to any attack, Sukuna activates his Domain Expansion: Malevolent Shrine, which mercilessly slashes every thing and every person within a 140-meter radius, including Mahoraga. Haruta is also caught in the attack and killed. Sukuna secretly brings Megumi to Shoko to be healed before showing his work to Yuji.
Sukuna is surprised by Gojo's reappearance, who is actually Yuta inside Gojo's corpse by means of copying Kenjaku's Cursed Technique to switch bodies. Yuji activates his Domain Expansion; within it, he takes Sukuna on a journey through his hometown, fruitlessly attempting to reason with him.
During the showdown with the reincarnated Sukuna, Yuta helps Yuji reach Megumi's soul inside, but the latter is too far gone into darkness and refuses his help. However, after Yuji traps Sukuna in his Domain Expansion and reaches out to him again, Megumi is finally inspired to fight back against Sukuna's control.
