"Ignition is an Integrated Software Platform for SCADA systems. Since its introduction in 2010, the Ignition platform used Java Web Start to enable cross-platform web-based deployment for run time clients. In 2018, Oracle released a statement that future versions of Java will no longer support Java Web Start.
