Stratford is a borough in Camden County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census , the borough's population was 6,981, [ 9 ] [ 10 ] a decrease of 59 (−0.8%) from the 2010 census count of 7,040, [ 19 ] [ 20 ] which in turn reflected a decline of 231 (−3.2%) from the 7,271 counted in the 2000 census . [ 21 ]
The school had been ranked 266th in the state of 328 schools in 2012, after being ranked 231st in 2010 out of 322 schools listed. [16] The magazine ranked the school 225th in 2008 out of 316 schools. [17] The school was ranked 228th in the magazine's September 2006 issue, which surveyed 316 schools across the state. [18]
The school was established under the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 1976 by the New Jersey state legislature. Initial classes were held at what is now Robert Wood Johnson Medical School for its first two years until its campus was complete. The first class of 24 students began on September 7, 1977.

As of the 2023–24 school year, the district, comprised of one school, had an enrollment of 63 students and 10.1 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 6.2:1. [1] In the 2016–17 school year, Beach Haven had the 3rd-smallest enrollment of any school district in the state, with 70 students. [7]
