The University of Alabama won the most recent co-ed event in 2025, winning their fourth title. [2] The 2025 all-girl competition was won by the University of Mississippi, their first ever title. [3] Only four teams have ever won consecutive co-ed championships in UCA Division I-A history. The University of Kentucky has done it five times.
Paid bids are only offered to cheerleading teams for the Cheerleading Worlds portion of the event. For cheerleading teams, a paid bid is designed to cover all competition expenses, including lodging, transportation and registration fees to compete, up to a maximum of $650 per athlete, and for up to two coaches. The NAIA competitive cheer championship is an annual meet hosted by the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics to determine the national champion of collegiate team competitive cheerleading among its members in the United States. [1] The inaugural meet was held in 2017.
