Delta Rae (/ r eɪ / RAY) is an American folk rock band formed in Durham, North Carolina. [2] The band consists of three siblings Ian Hölljes (vocals and guitar), Eric Hölljes (vocals, guitar, piano and keys) and Brittany Hölljes (vocals), as well as Elizabeth Hopkins (vocals), Mike McKee (percussion) and Grant Emerson (bass guitar).
After it All Has received mixed to positive reviews from critics and fans. Critics often remarked on the album's heavy, orchestral instrumentation; Annie Galving of PopMatters described it as an "almost campy excess," ultimately giving the album seven stars out of a possible ten. [4]
PopMatters wrote that "Delta Rae needs better material to show off what makes them special and distinctive." [ 5 ] Indy Week called the album "an embarrassment of expectations and enthusiasms, where musical and lyrical platitudes dovetail for 48 overwrought and unrelenting minutes."
