Colts Neck Township is a township in Monmouth County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey.It is located in the New York Metropolitan Area.As of the 2020 United States census, the township's population was 9,957, [8] [9] a decrease of 185 (−1.8%) from the 2010 census count of 10,142, [18] [19] which in turn reflected a decline of 2,189 (−17.8%) from the 12,331 counted in the 2000 census.
