William Floyd Collins (July 20, 1887 [a] – c. February 13, 1925) was an American cave explorer who became trapped and died in what is now Mammoth Cave National Park.The incident earned major media attention during the efforts to rescue Collins.
The most interesting section is the blue hole, which is the cause of the Lost River being listed by Ripley's Believe it or Not as the "Shortest, deepest river in the world."
