William Brewster Williams (July 28, 1826 – March 4, 1905) was a politician and judge from the U.S. State of Michigan.. Williams was born in Pittsford, New York.He attended the common schools, received an academic education, and graduated from the State and National Law School, Ballston Spa, New York in 1851.
Williams married actress Barbara Hale on June 22, 1946. [2] They met during the filming of West of the Pecos and had two daughters, Jodi and Juanita, and a son, actor William Katt. In September 2000, Congress designated the Royal Oak Post Office at 200 West 2nd Street in Royal Oak, Michigan, as the William S. Broomfield Post Office Building. On December 30, 2006, Broomfield collapsed at the state funeral memorial for former U.S. President Gerald Ford at the United States Capitol , bringing the ceremonies to a temporary pause.
