Flying flag of Seychelles. The national flag of Seychelles (drapeau national des Seychelles) was adopted on 8 January 1996. [2] The current flag is the third used by the country since its independence from the United Kingdom on 29 June 1976. [3]

Poivre Atoll is near the eastern edge of Amirante Bank. Poivre Nord is joined to Poivre Sud by a 750-metre causeway crossing the reef flats, which is submerged at high tide. The total area of the reef is 20.24 km 2 There are four islets on the reef (with land area):

The economy of Seychelles is based on fishing, tourism, processing of coconuts and vanilla, coir rope, boat building, printing, furniture and beverages. [ 8 ] [ 9 ] Agricultural products include cinnamon , sweet potatoes , cassava ( tapioca ), bananas , poultry and tuna .
Aldabra, the world's second-largest coral atoll [2] (the largest is Kiritimati), is located east of the continent of Africa.It is part of the Aldabra Group of islands in the Indian Ocean that are part of the Outer Islands of the Seychelles, with a distance of 1,120 km (700 mi) southwest of the capital, Victoria on Mahé Island.
