So the t nuts are visible from the top of the trailer deck (but hammered in so they still sit flush). The bolts are run in from the underside of the trailer (the t nuts are mounted into the wood so you can access everything from one side with a ratchet). I also upgraded the casters to 3” versions with locking brakes.

Built it, put 2000lbs on it and drove it non stop (except for gas) for 2100miles from WA state to the border of AR at 65 miles an hour. Had zero problems I could barely tell the trailer was behind me. I used 3x4in plywood that was too thick to let trailer fold.

Apr 5, 2019 #5. Went ahead and bought the HF 4X8 foldable (1720 lb). Modified the front half slightly to allow the spring hangers to be moved forward to make a 4X4 stand-up utility trailer.
