as far as i can see, the Java 2 Micro Edition (J2ME) is now simply Java Micro Edition, or JME. that reflects Sun perception that now all Java is what was once called Java 2. so, we should have a line stating that Java 2 Micro Edition (J2ME) is now officially called Java Micro Edition, or JME.
