Tsedenia has worked with the Ethiopian dub band Dub Colossus. They released an EP, A Town Called Addis in June 2008 through Real World Records [4] and a full length LP album of the same name was released in August 2008 exclusively through the Bowers & Wilkins Music Club [permanent dead link ].
Teddy Afro made his debut in 2001 with the album Abugida, quickly establishing himself as a prominent voice in his native country.Mixing reggae, traditional Ethiopian styles, and pop music, his sophomore LP, 2005's Yasteseryal yielded a major hit in its controversial title track, which criticized corruption in the country's government.
He graduated in 1990, and by 1992, he had released his first two albums outside of Ethiopia amid increasing international fame. Tewodros Assefa (Amharic: ቴዎድሮስ አሰፋ), [1] known professionally Teddy Yo, is an Ethiopian rapper regarded as the greatest rapper in Ethiopian hip hop music culture. His single "Gurage Tone", which was released in 2007, became a signature song and popularized him to the hip hop music industry. [2]
