On June 11, 2023, six people were shot, three fatally, outside a condominium complex in southeast Annapolis, Maryland.. Charles Robert Smith, 43, was arrested and charged with the shooting, which prosecutors said was racially motivated; the shooter was White, and the victims were Latino American.
