Sata drive missing after update. only my m.2 drives show. Comes up in BIOS but not in disk management or device manager. Not sure if related to 2 missing raid drivers in device manager, every time I update I get bluescreen.
I'm trying to install Windows 11 in my laptop but somehow at the time of installation hard drives are not getting detected in GUI but in diskpart utility (Shift + F10) it's showing both hard drives. I've tried using RAID and SATA hardware compatible drivers but still it's not showing it in GUI at the time of installation.

I have an external SATA RAID ARRAY and it has always worked fine. Lately I can't get it to be recognized by Windows. When I go into the UEFI the drive shows up just fine. But it does NOT show up in Windows explorer or disk management. How can I fix this? This is in Windows 10 64 bit.

I'm trying to recover data from my old WD 500 GB HHD that had failed (I replaced it with a 1 TB SSD). I have connected the HDD to multiple PCs and multiple USB ports (both front and back) using a SATA/IDE to USB 2.0 Adapter. Both of my PCs run windows 10. Neither one recognizes the USB connection to the SATA HHD when it is plugged in.
