Turn is the tendency of a disc to bank ("turn over") to the right (for RHBH throws) at high speeds during the initial part of the flight. A disc with a +1 rating is most resistant to turning over, while a -5 rating will turn the most. Discs rated -3 to -5 make good roller discs. Discs with less turn are more accurate in the wind.

Disc golf is a game based on the rules of golf (referred to by disc golfers as "ball and stick golf"). It uses discs smaller and denser than an ultimate disc. The discs are thrown towards a target, which serves as the "hole". The official targets are metal baskets with hanging chains to catch the discs.
Scott began playing disc golf in 1976 as a junior member of the Oak Grove Gophers at the World's first permanent Disc Golf Course [1] in Pasadena, California. Stokely published an instructional book and videos about disc golf throwing techniques in 2001 and the first Disc Golf autobiography "Scott Stokely: Growing Up Disc Golf" in January 2020.
The Disc Golf Association | DGA, is the founding company of the sport of disc golf and was the acting overseeing body for the sport until the establishment of the Professional Disc Golf Association (PDGA). The PDGA was run by Ed Headrick and the DGA until 1982. They are a manufacturer of disc golf baskets for the sports of Disc Golf.
Disc Golf Association's [5] Mach 1 Disc Pole Hole disc golf basket was invented by Ed Headrick. [ 6 ] [ 7 ] It was the first formal disc golf target to incorporate chains and a basket on a pole, and became the Technical Standards used by the PDGA. [ 8 ]
"Steady Ed" Headrick [7] and Dave Dunipace are two inventors and players who greatly impacted how disc golf is played. In 1976 Headrick formalized the rules of the sport, founded the Disc Golf Association (DGA), the Professional Disc Golf Association (PDGA), [8] the Recreational Disc Golf Association (RDGA) and invented the first formal disc golf target [9] with chains and a basket. [10]
