MidwayUSA (formerly Ely Arms, Inc.) was a small start-up gun shop in Columbia, Missouri that opened on June 18, 1977. The business was opened by Larry Potterfield, with his next younger brother Jerry, in a 151 square metres (1,630 sq ft) metal, pole-frame building. Jerry sold his half interest to Larry in 1980 and returned home to farm. [1]
Monroe City is in the northeast corner of Monroe County, with a small portion extending north into Marion County and a still smaller portion reaching east into Ralls County. U.S. Routes 24 and 36 split at Monroe City, with US 36 leading west-northwest 42 miles (68 km) to Macon and US 24 leading west-southwest 46 miles (74 km) to Moberly.

Santa Fe is an unincorporated community in southeastern Monroe County, Missouri, United States. [1] It is located approximately twenty-five miles north of Mexico, near the southern edge of Mark Twain Lake. Santa Fe was founded in 1836 and named for Santa Fe, New Mexico. [2] [3] The post office at Santa Fe has been in operation since 1854. [4]
