Kristina Wood, Amarillo Globe-News September 11, 2024 at 10:17 AM Police confirmed one person died and another person was injured after a motorcycle crashed into a vehicle Tuesday morning in Amarillo.
Officers found the 23-year-old man who had been shot just outside his vehicle, police said.
The current-day Globe-News is a combination of several newspapers previously published in Amarillo. One began on November 4, 1909, as a prohibition publication by the Baptist deacon Dr. Joseph Elbert Nunn (1851 – 1938). In 1916, Nunn turned the Amarillo Daily News into a general newspaper.
