HOUSTON (Reuters) -Autry Stephens, the billionaire founder and chairman of Endeavor Energy Resources, has died aged 86, the company disclosed on Friday, after a prolonged battle with cancer.
Jenna Stephens, [1] also known as Jenna Stephens Goldsworthy or Tia Carter but better known by her original name of Tracie Marguerite Andrews (originally registered as Tracey Marguerite Andrews) [2] (born 9 April 1969), is an English murderer who killed her fiancé, Lee Raymond Dean Harvey (born 20 September 1971), on 1 December 1996.
Stephens was born March 8, 1938, in De Leon, Texas, one of five children to Martin Elmore Stephens, a watermelon and peanut farmer, and Hazel Lila Stephens (née Johnson; 1905–2011). [5] [6] He earned his Bachelor of Science in 1961 and his Master of Science in 1962, both in Petroleum engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. [7]
In May 2020, before the Supreme Court had issued a decision, Stephens entered hospice care, as her long-term kidney disease had become untreatable. [10] She died on May 12, 2020, at age 59. [11] [12] Stephens's lawyers, from the American Civil Liberties Union, said that the case would be carried on by her estate. [13]
