The Auburn Tigers swimming and diving program is Auburn University's representative in the sport of swimming and diving. The Tigers compete in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division 1 and are members of the Southeastern Conference (SEC). The program started in 1932 when the pool was in the basement of the gymnasium.

The Martin Aquatics Center competition pool was constructed in 1993 as part of a $10.5 million expansion to the previous swimming facility. The pool is 77 metres (253 ft)×25 metres (82 ft), with a general depth of 9 feet (2.7 m)-10 feet (3.0 m) extending to 16.5 feet (5.0 m) in the diving well.
Auburn's swimming and diving team has a fierce rivalry with Texas, as the two have combined for 17 NCAA National Titles since 1981 (9 for Texas, 8 for Auburn) and between 1999 and 2007 won every national title awarded. The two regularly face-off in a meet during the regular season, Auburn's men own a 12–9 record over the Longhorns.

After graduating with an AA, he transferred to Auburn University on a "books" athletic scholarship in Auburn, Alabama, where he competed for the Auburn Tigers swimming and diving team from 1991 to 1994. During his college career, he earned Academic All-American honors two consecutive years and three NCAA all-American awards.
