The Isuzu Gemini is a subcompact car produced by the Japanese automaker Isuzu from 1974 until 2000. The same basic product was built and/or sold under several other names, sometimes by other General Motors brands, in various markets around the world.

The 1.8 L G180Z SOHC engine was used in the 1972–1976 Opel Kadett, Isuzu Gemini, Chevrolet LUV, and Isuzu 117 Coupé. The TE series Gemini was introduced in October 1979. It featured significant exterior changes with new front and rear styling, comparable with the Isuzu Gemini and Holden Commodore models of the same era. By this time, the Opel Kadett had been changed to front wheel drive and no longer resembled the original Kadett C.

Isuzu car assembly stopped after GM took its stake; the next Isuzu to be built and sold in New Zealand was the 1977 Gemini, marketed by GMNZ as an Isuzu rather than a Holden as in Australia. The Bellett was assembled under license by Francisco Motors Corporation in Las Piñas , Philippines from 1965 to 1974.
