The Duluth Harbor Monsters are an Arena football team based in Duluth, Minnesota. They were announced as one of the four inaugural teams of The Arena League (The AL or TAL) on April 5, 2023. [ 1 ] This is the second professional arena/indoor football team to the Duluth area, the first being the Duluth-Superior Lumberjacks of the IFL . [ 2 ]
The first named symbol is the state's motto, L'Étoile du Nord – French for "Star of the North". It was selected in 1861, shortly after Minnesota achieved statehood, by the first governor, Henry Sibley, as a reflection of Minnesota's location in the Northern United States. That same year, the original state seal was adopted.

Harbor City was founded as Harbor City Roller Dames in January 2007 by Melissa LaTour, known as "Ginger Suicide". [2] [3] For a while, it was run by Michael and Mary Utecht, [4] but in October 2009, it became skater-owned. [2] The team hosts skate-a-thon fundraisers to raise money. [5]
