Just a recent development. I found out you could find the app on the new computer by going into the Microsoft Store, click the top right three-dot menu button, then click My Library. See if The Weather Channel pops up, I just found it on my end. Let me know the results, good luck.

In reply to Randy Monroe's post on June 1, 2023. Appears to have gone to the block or tile style. Clicking the map tile will give you a full map window. Clock button on left side gives the weather by the hour; one of my favorite choices; but the hourly goes downward instead of across your screen .
My old PC - Win 7 had the -Weather Channel Desktop- Version 2.2.5.0. I also found this version for my Windows 8.1 Laptop. I can't find this version to download and I like the simplicity of it and the background changes with the weather.
I can download and install the Weather Channel Desktop App. When the app starts up the display for the app and the info (my town) look okay but that's as far as it goes. The app starts up frozen and will not move into different modes of the display. After starting (in that frozen mode) it will not exit without cntrl/alt/del and ending it manually.
