OK Let’s Dance aims to help fuel the efforts of local dance nonprofits in their vital work to increase the accessibility of dance in central Oklahoma.

The United Country Western Dance Council (UCWDC) is an organization that advocates for and organizes competitive country/western dancesport events. UCWDC regionally-sanctioned events are hosted in more than two dozen U.S. cities and also in the nations of Canada, the Netherlands, Italy, Germany, [1] [2] South Korea, Belgium, Malaysia, Ireland, Japan, China, South Africa, and Lithuania.
Soonercon programming includes featured guests, a large (over 7,200 square feet) dedicated gaming area, demonstrations, exhibitors hall and artist alley, workshops (including a Writer’s Workshop), a dance, art show and auction, a costume contest, and panels for every fandom subject (examples include kid’s programming, art, gaming, cosplay, anime, writing, author readings, and film/tv).
During the Fall and Winter Season, there are Showstopper Dance Conventions that provide classes where dance students can learn and participate in different styles of dance. Teacher classes are also provided for studio owners and dance teachers. These classes are taught by instructors with different backgrounds of dance and business. [10]
The Oklahoma Association of Student Councils is composed of 14 districts across the state of Oklahoma. The OASC sponsors a variety of activities that are available to all member schools. Activities include an annual convention held at an elected secretary's school, summer workshops, fall advisor's workshops, and additional leadership opportunities.
