Maui Veterans Highway or Route 311 (formerly Mokulele Highway) is a highway on the island of Maui in Hawaii that runs south through the isthmus of Maui from the town of Kahului and nearby Kahului Airport, Maui's international airport, to Kihei, a distance of approximately 7 miles (11 km).
The Kihei section of the highway now terminates in Wailea, and the much longer Kaupo section, which is mostly a one-lane, winding road, is county-maintained as County Road 31, connects Route 37 near Kula to the Route 360 south of Hana (at the western border of Haleakala National Park).
There is also a commuter parking lot at the corner of highway 310 (North Kihei Road) and highway 30 (Honoapi'ilani Highway), [7] the Kihei Junction Park and Ride in adjacent Wailuku. There is no public bus service that stops here; however, it is located near Ma'alaea Harbor Village, where there is a public transportation stop. [ 8 ]
