Most schools in Kuwait are public schools which educate in the Arabic language. There are, however, a few schools which run under Indian Central Board of Secondary Education , British , American and French systems, or a combination of languages.
Mahboula (Arabic: المهبولة, lit. 'mad woman') [1] is a Kuwaiti district on the Persian Gulf, 36 kilometres (22 mi) south of Kuwait City. [2] It is located in the Ahmadi Governorate between the areas of Fintās and Abu Halifa. [1] In the mid-2000s, Mahboula was essentially "uninhabited, with a few old buildings and unsafe streets."
There are about 1,145 schools in Kuwait, at all levels from kindergarten to secondary (2006 figures). Out of this total, 664 are public and 481 are private schools. There are 6 districts in Kuwait. [18] Two-thirds of all students (from kindergarten to secondary) were in public schools during the year ending 2006.

They are mainly supermarkets that provide foods and products and they take part in maintaining some of the areas landmarks, but they're not legally obliged to. They have elected members who manage them.

The school is also a member of the Near East South Asia Council of Overseas Schools (NESA). The American International School of Kuwait has been an International Baccalaureate World School since September 1993. Currently, AIS educates 2780 students. The school is the only fully authorized (kindergarten through grade 12) IBO World School in Kuwait.
