Naruto begins investigating Boruto's absence, while the latter engages Code in battle. Boruto surprises him with his jutsu and tactics, so Code activates his White Karma as well, overwhelming the former with his speed and strength. Code slaps Boruto around with ease, awakening more of Momoshiki's power in him as a result.
Boruto rescinds Uzuhiko and asks Code to help him fight them, but Code slips away, and Boruto is forced to flee using Flying Raijin. He arrives in the wilderness where Koji Kashin admonishes him for taking such a risk. The next morning, Boruto is running late for the ceremony and sees Denki being controlled by an evil aura. Denki lures the bullies on a broken train and sends it driving towards another train with the intent of scaring them. Boruto intervenes and snaps Denki back to his senses, and manages to avoid the collision.
