2.0L V6 12V Turbo from Alfa Romeo 166. The Alfa Romeo V6 engine (also called the Busso V6) is a 60° V6 engine made by Alfa Romeo from 1979 to 2005. It was developed in the early 1970s by Giuseppe Busso, and first used on the Alfa 6 with a displacement of 2.5 L (2,492 cc) and a SOHC 12-valve cylinder head.
The Alfa Romeo GT (Type 937) is a sporting coupé that was produced by the Italian automaker Alfa Romeo between 2003 and 2010. The GT was introduced in March 2003 at the Geneva Motor Show . [ 4 ] Production started on 28 November 2003 at the Pomigliano d'Arco plant , which the GT shared the assembly plant with the 147 and 159 . [ 5 ]
Later in the same year, the GTV 6 2.5, a version of the GTV with the SOHC 2.5 L V6 engine from the Alfa Romeo Alfa 6 luxury saloon, was released. As a result, the hood received a bulge to clear the top of the intake and became its most pronounced feature.
The Alfa Romeo GTV and the Alfa Romeo Spider (Type 916) are sports cars produced by the Italian automobile manufacturer Alfa Romeo from 1993 to 2004. [6] [7] [8] The GTV is a 2+2 coupé, while the Spider is a two-seater roadster. Production totaled 38,891 units for the Spider and 42,937 units for the GTV.
In 1986, Alfa Romeo GTV6 was one of the fastest Group A rally cars. [49] However, FIA reclassified it as a Group B car at the end of 1986, changing it from a winning car to a car that was much less competitive. [49] The GTV6 placed 3rd in 1986 Tour de Corse.
