Tower Hamlets London Borough Council, also known as Tower Hamlets Council, is the local authority for the London Borough of Tower Hamlets in Greater London, England. It is a London borough council, one of 32 in London. The council has been under the control of local party Aspire since 2022. It has been led by a directly elected mayor since 2010.

Situated on the north bank of the River Thames and immediately east of the City of London, the borough spans much of the traditional East End of London and includes much of the regenerated London Docklands area. The Mayor of Tower Hamlets was a position first established in 1965 with the creation of the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. It replaced the mayors of Bethnal Green, Poplar and Stepney. The post holder is elected at a full council meeting in May of each year, and serves for one municipal year.

Bethnal Green West is an electoral ward in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. The ward was created as St Peter's in 2014 and was renamed in 2022. It was first used in the 2014 elections. It returns three councillors to Tower Hamlets London Borough Council.
