I've removed the reference to the dialectic use of "braw" (phon.) meaning "good" or "nice" in Scottish English. This almost certainly comes directly from Scots Gaelic, where it might have originally come from Old Norse, as many words in Scots and Irish do. The point, however, is that it does not come from Swedish.
