Barstow-Daggett Airport (IATA: DAG, ICAO: KDAG, FAA LID: DAG) is a county-owned public airport in San Bernardino County, California, United States. It is five miles (8 km) east of Daggett [1] and 14 miles (23 km) east of Barstow. [2] Built in 1933, it is the oldest of the six airports operated by San Bernardino County.
That year, the county renamed the airport Meadows Field (by a board of minute order on August 6, 1957), after Cecil Meadows. [8] He was the county's Director of Airports from 1935 to 1957, except during World War II when he was a pilot in the armed forces. He was also responsible for the county purchasing the airport and modernization efforts.
