Garry Alan Monk (born 6 March 1979 [1]) is an English football manager and former professional player who is head coach of EFL League One club Cambridge United.. Monk, a centre back, began his playing career with Torquay United before joining Southampton.
He moved on to become manager of Cardiff City in November 2019. In January 2022, Harris was appointed as the new first team manager of Gillingham on a two-and-a-half-year contract. In late 2023, he joined Cambridge United but less than three months later he left the club to return to Millwall.
Two months later, he went on to be named as Cambridge United manager, and despite being named as Conference Premier Manager of the Year for 2008–09, was sacked in July 2009. He later scouted for and coached at Luton Town before he was promoted to first-team manager in March 2011.
Jeremy "Jez" George (born 24 January 1970) is an English former football manager who was Chief Executive Officer for Cambridge United in the Football League Two. He was also a prominent figure in the Cambridge United Youth & Community Trust. He has been hailed as "the heart and soul" of the club by former England international Dion Dublin. [1]
